Granddaughters come to Washington

The third annual visit from our granddaughters:  July 2-16, 2019

First, some time at home

 Next day, we met up with Uncle Byron at Chambers Creek for a walk and talk

For the July 4th holiday, we met at Penrose Point State Park for the minus tide

The next day, we're off on our cruise to Alaska
July 5-Friday, 1st day

Endicott Arm Fjord and Dawes glacier


Got up before dawn to see the ice floes

 Same day, we then went whale watching, although we didn't take pictures, we saw many humpback whales.
We then went to the Mendenhall Glacier National Park
