Hammersley Inlet-Ride the Tide

Time for a paddle.   Because of the full moon, we noticed a low tide at mid-day and decided to try to Ride the Tide out on Hammersley Inlet, stop for lunch and then ride the tide back in, and that is exactly what we did.
We started here at Walker County Park, just south of Shelton

Here we are starting out on calm waters, heading east
Gliding down the inlet with the Ebb Tide
A beautiful day to be on the water
A bit of a headwind and some chop, just to add a little excitement
Slack tide, looking for a lunch spot
Landing for lunch near Cape Horn
Watching the tide roll in
Gliding back down the Inlet on the Flood Tide, with smooth waters.
Best tide ride we've ever had.  Thanks, Keith for driving and taking most of the pictures
