Coldwater Lake

On our way home from the Columbia Gorge, we took a side trip to Mt. St. Helens.  We walked around the shoreline of what might be the youngest lake on the planet.  This lake was formed when a landslide damned Coldwater Creek at the time of the volcanic eruption in 1980.
